Hotel Transatlantique is the best place to stay in meknes, no question. If you are visiting the city and want something truly special, this is it. From the moment you walk in, you feel the elegance and calm atmosphere. It feels luxurious but still warm and welcoming. The rooms were spacious, spotless and beautifully designed. Waking up to the pool and garden views with the old madinah right in front of us was honestly unreal. It’s such a peaceful and magical way to start your morning, it makes your whole trip feel elevated. The pool area is stunning and perfect for relaxing after exploring the city. Everything is very clean and well maintained, you can tell they really care about the experience. The hotel has this timeless charm that you just don’t find everywhere. The staff were incredibly kind, professional and always ready to help. They made everything smooth and comfortable from start to finish. If you’re thinking about where to stay in meknes, book here. You won’t regret it. I would 100 percent stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Transaltantique, it's an absolutely gorgeous building, very clean, very sophisticated. The staff were super professional and kind, everyone spoke a bit of french and english, which was helpful. The breakfast that they serve is healthy and tasty. The only slight downside was that near the east wing of the building, where our room was located, there is a bar/club on hotel grounds, that plays very loud music in the late evenings. It starts around 22:30 and lasts a few hours. We were able to sleep despite the music but if you're sensitive to sounds, you may have a hard time sleeping. Other than that the neighborhood is beautiful, the view from the hotel garden is breathtaking, you will look out over the beautiful old town of Meknes and we also found out that the hotel is located right around the corner from one of the Morroccan King's residences.

Wonderful Family Stay with Exceptional Service Our recent stay was fantastic, especially traveling with kids. The hotel was family-friendly, comfortable, and met all our needs. A special thank you to Amin, one of the employees, who went above and beyond to help when I accidentally left my earphones behind. His kindness and efficiency in ensuring they were returned to me truly stood out. It’s gestures like these that make a stay memorable. Many thanks to the rest of staffs as well . We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return on our next trip!

Good and beautiful hotel in authentic style. Rooms were clean, big bed and there was a balcony with a most amazing view over the old medina. Breakfast is ok, staff was friendly. There are two swimmingpools. I saw some comments that people had to pay 150 dirhams for the pool. Maby it was the other pool that is close to an exit. Because in Morocco some hotels open their pool for the public. In the pool that I was going to was a sign that it was only for hotel guests and I didn't have to pay anything for the pool. Staff is serving you at the pool also, so service is very good and friendly. I payed about 80 euro's a night and if you ask me, that is a little bit over priced. 50 - 60 euro's would be a better price for this one, in my opinion. They also have a bar and a nightclub where they also serve alcohol at 100 dirhams per drink and up. Nightclub was a bit quiet, good mix of music but not so many people. For instance hotel Malta and hotel Zaki have better nightclubs, crowded, good music and a good ambiance. Drinks same price, soda, beer, everything 100 dirhams and more for mixed drinks. I heared that company in the clubs is being offered at 1000 dirhams, but you should be fine at 600/ 700 dirhams ;-) Don't forget to book an extra room for the night, otherwise not possible in the hotels. Off course this is what people told me ;-) Taxi in Meknes is normally about 9 dirhams so don't pay more than 20, or you will ruin it for future tourists. Morocco is a beautiful country with beautiful, friendly, hardworking people with a great hospitality and an amazing sense of humor :-) Always keep some coins or pocket change with you, because there are some poor beggars here and there. Please give them something, everyone has to eat. Tip the people when you buy something. We have a better life and can afford it. Be kind, respectful and generous and you will receive it back in respect, help and kindness. Have a great holiday everyone!
